Ensure that you’re not running Discord as an administrator during this process. Make sure that all the other games listed in Game Activity are running. If the Discord app is already there, remove it from the list and add it back.

This activity is a common and useful component used more than a dozen times during one call. A corrupted Discord cache or temporary files can cause audio problem during Discord Screen Share. In this case, deleting cache files will solve the problem.

Step 1: Exit Discord and close all the running processes of Discord through Task Manager.

Step 2: Press Windows key and type Run. In the resulting list, click Run to open Run command box.
Step 3: Now type (or copy-paste) the following command in the Run box:

Step 4: Now, in the Roaming folder of AppData, find the folder named Discord. Right-click on it and then select Delete.

To check computer audio potential, you need to check the following points; if the correct recording input device is selected, and if Discord is allowed proper access in Microphone settings.

First, you need to configure the microphone settings.

Step 1: Press Windows + S simultaneously, then type “Microphone privacy settings” in the dialogue box and select the Windows settings in the results.
Step 2: Now ensure that you turn on the option for Allow apps to access your microphone. You will find a list of all applications that have access to your mic. Make sure you turn on access for the app you want to run.
Step 3: Save the changes you made and quit. Now launch Discord and check if the issue is fixed.

If you are still having no audio issues, following the steps below will help you enable correct recording device.

Step 1: Right-click the sounds icon present and select Sounds.
