The Logitech G Pro is a compact mouse that has a shape that is safe for both left and right-handed users. Its shape is to the Logitech G100 and is about the same size as the G303.

Due to its conservative design, you can use this mouse with a variety of grips styles. It’s a generalist mouse, nothing fancy. But that is actually something that some users actually prefer. On the other hand, the G305 is a little better for fingertip and claw grips compared to a hard palm grip. This is because it has a flat, low profile.k

The G305 and G Pro wired both measures 6.2 cm wide, 11.6 cm long, and 3.8 cm tall. These mice are made for smaller hands. So, if you have a larger palm, these may not be the mice for you.

The sides don’t have any kind of grips, providing a pretty much flat side. The mouse is so small and lightweight, however, that holding it up and holding it is easy.

The body of the mouse is composed of matte plastic. There is a good amount of grip, and it’s not as slippery as the G Pro Wireless.

Unfortunately, there seems to be somewhat of a quality control issue at the Logitech mouse factory. Some reviewers are reporting that some G305 mice are ‘creaky’ when they are squeezed. Interestingly, the white version squeaks a lot less.

The wired version weighs in at just 85 grams. The wireless version, battery included, weighs only 88 grams. So, moving around these mice is extremely easy.

The Logitech G Pro uses a heavily braided cable that can, at times, really hold the mouse back. This seems to be a theme among wired Logitech mice. They all have this cable that can sort of drag on the desk and if you aren’t careful, it can affect your aim. Also, because this mouse is so light, the extra drag of the cable is noticeable.

The Logitech G Pro sports a 6 button setup that includes side thumb buttons, but only for right-handed users. So, this kind of renders the ambidextrous shape of the design somewhat of a waste.

As far as the main buttons, the Logitech G Pro has the absolute best buttons you can get, by a long shot. These buttons are extremely tactile and have a pleasing click.

The side buttons are thin and placed in a good location, just above the thumb. There is a distinct separation between the front and back, so they are easy to feel and press. Also, the depth of travel on the side buttons is very ‘satisfying.’

The DPI switcher button is also placed well. You won’t be accidentally pressing it.

The scroll wheel on this mouse is excellent. The wheel has a well-defined stepping system. The scroll wheel’s surface is a rigid and somewhat grippy rubber. When you click the middle button on this mouse, it feels totally solid. The wheel itself is locked in place with no play side-to-side.

The G Pro runs the same Logitech Gaming Software that other Logitech mice use. Here is its feature-set:
